Success is finding satisfaction in giving a little more than you take.

Won’t Get Rich Working for...
You Won’t Get Rich Working for Others- (if you want to be)
Why # 2
You’re building someone else’s Dream –instead of your own
Being employed to a company or an individual is actually helping them in their endeavours. There really is no problem with that as long as you believe in the cause, and only want to just get by in life for yourself –from day to day, week to week or month to month; but if you want to get rich, that’s not the path to get it.
While providing help to others is good, but based on the fact that you intend to get rich in the process, is just not going to work you. If it is a case where you’re helping them to achieve where you’ve achieved, then go right ahead and help. If it’s a case where you are offering your services (from knowledge and experience or talent) e.g. as a consultant, then go right ahead; you’ll definitely be paid using a help-model like consultancy.
Look at the reality; you’re spending at least forty (40) hours a week focusing on someone else’s dream, purpose or goals. What about you, what do you want to do? What is your dream?
Let’s imagine a scenario here: say you’ll give 40 hours weekly to someone else so that they’ll be able to reach their dreams -granted; how much is left within that week for you to take and invest in yourself; in your dream? Think about that. And take into consideration: family, personal/leisure, spiritual, entertainment, rest and sleep time (to name a few). Truth be told, you don’t even have enough left to include all of these in your current job, so you know its impractical right?
Understand that Life Coaching is a proven process that definitely has and can provide the results of helping people to reach their goals. Another scenario, consider this: a basic one month Coaching Session for 1 hour per week costs US$1,000.00. Now let me give you a heads-up; if you should provide assistance to your employer for 40 hours a week…. I think I’ll leave the rest up to your imagination of how much income you can create and how much time you’ll have for the things that really matter. Of course, it will depend on how good you are in providing the kind of Coaching that helps to bring results. Of course, that is if it would be in line with your area of expertise or gifting/talent. If not, offer yourself (expertise or gifting/talent) to others who need them in getting their goals fulfilled.
So, if you have 40 free hours to work on something for yourself. It’s a lot of time, right? Once you get out of your comfortable position (whatever that is) or rut, you’ll have those forty (40) hours to invest in your dream, talent or asset (whatever it is that you can do). Everything you put into yourself and your dream/business will come right back to you, but obviously it’s not that way with working for someone else. The money you spend for the business (you), can be deducted from your taxes and any income is yours. Now how does all of this sound to you? Yeah, I know you might be smiling right now and that’s fine.
So take control of your life, by starting to think about your future; your dreams and aspirations and how &/or what you need to do to fulfil them. Find out who you are and what you can offer the world based on who you are; and that’s a great place to start the transition. “Don’t wait until you are thirsty to dig your well.”

WORK ON YOUR OWN DREAM: DO WHAT BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO YOUR DREAM!
One Key to Success: You.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR…
You’re time is limited. So don’t waste it living someone else’s dream or life.
Don’t be trapped by Dogma –which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.
Don’t let the noise of others opinion, drown out your own inner voice.
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
People somehow know what you’ll truly become. Everything else is secondary.
Many people are working really hard at work and hope that one day they’ll be really successful. If you’re one of these people, take a moment to think about what you really want and what you’re chasing for. Is working hard the key to success?
Of course, you need to work hard for whatever you want to achieve. But the key is, are you clear about your goals and your dreams? Are you fighting for what your heart wants? If the reason why you work hard is to earn more money or because others are also doing this, I’m sorry to tell you that working hard will not lead you to success. You’re fighting for nothing because you don’t know what you want, or worse, you’re fighting against what you truly want.
“Remembering that you are going to die one day is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. Follow your heart.” - Steve Jobs
Others will try to convince you to stop following your heart, but why should you listen to them if you’re clear about your dream? We don’t have very long lives, so instead of trying to please everyone around you, follow your instinct. It’s your journey and you do know what’s best for you. When you’re determined to do it, you’re not far from success.
