Your muse has found mine crying alone in their room. Send "Hey, what's wrong?" for my muse's reaction.

Dean. Jemma turned from the door and hurriedly tried to wipe the tears from her eyes, hoping he hadn't seen. She swallowed hard and cleared her throat before finally speaking up.

"Nothing. It's nothing. I'm fine." But her voice cracked and she couldn't keep the tears from running down her face. "Don't worry about it."

Another message! I adore Ixto, I really do, and I love the relationship he and Dean have! All the skype stuff we do, both with Ixto and with LOTR, bring me so much joy and I always want to know more about the worlds, about the stories, about the plots you come up with. You're a master storyteller, you really are. A wordsmith. You're awesome.

       [ No let me just take a moment to talk about you okay. You are such an inspiring person, and I am so grateful for you. You stick with me through the negatives and positives of my attitude, and I'm really just super grateful to have met you.

       Your skill in writing Dean is fucking amazing. Dean is such an important character to me, and I am going to admit I feel a little picky with the Deans I write with. This compliment isn't going to make much sense unless I explain something:

       I grew up with the Winchester brothers ok. I've been hanging around this fandom since mid season 3, and started watching near the beginning of Season 2, or the end of season 1. Basically, This show has been around for about 10 years of my life, maybe a bit less.

       I grew up looking up to Sam and Dean as heroes. They were these two brothers who dealt with an emotionally abusive father, and I find myself relating to Dean so much. I watched him make the impossible, possible. Dean Winchester is one of the reasons I believe that nothing is impossible.

       He taught me that no matter how fucked you think you are, no matter how fucking shitty the odds, when the devil's literally on your trail, there is surprisingly always hope.

       And you capture all of the broken hero that he is. You don't just play Dean well, you embody everything that this character means to me, and you portray it with stunning clarity.  ]

       "For a long time, I was fairly certain that... I would never see you again. I held a siren funeral for you as I thought you were dead. I held vigil and everything. I grieved."

       Ixto took a shuddering breath, and continued on. For some reason he could not stop.

       "I am afraid to tell you that I love you because I don't want to scare you away. But I do. And I want to tell you every time you leave because I never know when you're going to do something stupid and get yourself killed."

       A rough swallow as he tried to hold back his last confession, but for some reason it seemed to come from him without his own will.

       "I feel like a burden on you because I don't carry a gun... and I can not pull the trigger. I feel like you deserve better than me... and that if it came down to it, I think I would freeze in the face of conflict and I don't think I could protect you. I feel like a complete failure."
