Chicory, a wildflower you'll see on a lot of roadsides in my area. I saw this one while out magnet fishing with my dad.

Some fun facts: - Common chicory (Cichorium intybus) is a member of the daisy family and is also known as succory, blue daisy, blue dandelion, wild bachelor's buttons, coffeeweed, or ragged sailors. - The flowers are usually blue, but on rare occasions can be white or pink! (Hehehe, like a shiny Pokémon) - It's edible and is sometimes cultivated for that purpose. - It can be used as a coffee substitute, such as by Confederate soldiers in the American Civil War. - Common chicory is frequently confused with its close cousin curly endive (Cichorium endiva), which in the United States is also often called chicory. - It's native to Asia, Europe, and North Africa, and has become naturalized in other parts of the world (including the U.S.). - During the Middle Ages, chicory was a symbol of perseverance, faithful love, and endless waiting.
