Alien!Skye where hydra/ward unlocks the monster in her through capture or something and Skye gets trapped in her mind , similar to how Clint was controlled in Avengers. Like she is Skye but she's not. You feel me?
sorry this drabble is so tiny... i tried, but the prompt gave me some difficulties.
It’s an out of body experience, not one of the cool ones, where you get to be a ghost staring down at your body like they show in the movies, or even one of those awful ones where everything seems to happen in slow motion right after something terrible has happened.
It’s a very different experience.
One where she quickly realizes that she is not in control; where no matter what she wants to do she simply cannot manage it, instead it as thought somebody else has the reigns.
She focuses with all her might on a simple action, making a fist with her hand, but her fingers refuse to curl, instead they lay flat against the countertop.
If only this were a dream that she could wake out of, some way she could pull herself to clarity, out of the blurry focus that seems to be her only waking environment. Not that sleeping ever helps anything, even that only comes when whatever is in control of her allows it, and her dreams are so haunted most nights that she would rather remain awake.
There’s a voice, that she vaguely recognizes, speaking up asks if she’s ready for them to start, and she’s not sure what’s going on what’s about to happen, but a voice so similar to her own replies, “I’ve been ready.”
