first of all Happy Restoration of Independence Day!! (today is a national holiday in Hungary, too btw :D) I'm moving to Tallinn in September and since I'm lactose-intolerant, I'm curious how common are lactose-free products in Estonia? are they expensive?
Thank you!
While Estonians aren’t as lactose-intolerant as our relatives 80 km up North are (percentage of population that’s lactose intolerant is smaller), there is a decent selection of lactose-free products on sale in larger stores (smaller ones may or may not have, it’s a lottery tbh).
They might cost a bit more, but I don’t know about that. The price isn’t doubled up or anything, maybe 30-40 cents more?
Lactose-intolerant Estonians please feel free to share info.
