Summer is his domain and for years he has been dreaming of heading to the pristine shores of Blue Waters Resort with best friend Cameron and girlfriend (Mia Sara) in tow. In this, the summer of his senior year, Jessie finally saved up enough from various jobs to book the three of them a choice suite for two whole months. After all, what's this time for other than one last fling before they all go off to become--real adults.

Down Under by Men at Work | "Oh you come from a land down under! (oh yeah yeah) Where women glow and men plunder."
Relationships: Riordan (interest), (brother), Kevin Bacon (rival? friend from surf camp?), (friend from states)
It's not every day that Blue Waters has foreigners visiting. Especially when those foreign boys are world-class surfing champions. But when Ray heard that one of his old buddies from surf camp had gotten himself a sweet set up working at a resort, well... Ray certainly had to come check it out. Besides, what could be better than a summer full of beach, babes and waves? And when Ray sees the gorgeous blonde sitting in the lifeguard chair, he knows that this'll be one hell of a summer.

Rio by Duran Duran | "You know you're something special and you look like you're the best... Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand"
Relationships: Kevin Bacon (best friend/HS boyfriend?), Sarah Jessica Parker (friend), RDJ (interest/annoyance),
Kenzie has never made light of the fact that she knows she's beautiful. She's known it since she was a little girl and her parents tried to put her in beauty pageants and fell for a bunch of fashion agency scams all in the name of grabbing a few more bucks. But what no one ever really seemed to think about was if Kenzie really even liked being known as the "pretty one." Certainly didn't help that the Blue Waters Resort staffing manager decided she'd be best off lounging in a bathing suit in the lifeguard chair, attracting all the guests towards the water and their seaside shops. But, if she's honest with herself, all Kenzie really wants is to blow this dying town and find adventure somewhere far away with someone special.

Goody Two Shoes by Adam Ant | "No one’s gonna tell me, what’s wrong and what’s right. Tell me who to eat with, sleep with, or that I’ve won the big fight, big fight."
Relationships: Casey Fitzroy (best friend), Judd Nelson, John Cusack, Ally Sheedy (friends), Matthew Broderick/Emilio Estevez (interest)
Life has dealt a rough hand to Roxy Carmichael the last few years. After her father injured himself working at the factory a few towns over from Fort Bragg, Roxy has had to give up her dreams of getting into a fashion college and help support her family while her father recovers. And like many people in Fort Bragg, that meant coming to work at The Blue Waters Resort. Roxy’ll admit that at least She Sells is probably one of the better spots to be placed. Get to listen to good music, there’s air conditioning, and a great view right out to the beach. Not to mention all the tourist boys that stop in to grab a Coke and Roxy’s got her eye on a certain handsome young man who stops by on a regular basis. Now if only she could convince Casey to leave her be for two seconds.
Casey "Prince" Fitzroy | FC: Jon Cryer | juice bar worker | eighteen Taken by Tina Rae Boys of Summer by Don Henley | "I can tell you my love for you will still be strong, after the boys of summer have gone..."
Relationships: Roxy Carmichael (best friend/unrequited love), John Cusack, Judd Nelson (friends)
For as long as he can remember, Casey has been deeply, madly in love with his best friend Roxy Carmichael. They grew up together, went to school together, and when Roxy got a job at The Blue Waters Resort that practically pays half the people of their tiny resort town, Casey naturally followed. Only problem is, Roxy doesn't quite worship the Prince like he'd like her to. Every summer she seems to have some new tourist trap trash hanging all over her and breaking her heart when he leaves at the end of the season. But this summer, Casey is determined to show his Foxy little Roxy that his love isn't one that'll fade after all the boys of summer have gone.
