Is it possible/healthy to have hybrid snakes?

It’s certainly possible, though whether it is healthy or not is questionable. Several python species have been successfully crossbred in captivity, though such crossbreeding rarely occurs in the wild. 

Here’s a list with pictures of some ball python hybrids.

There’s no arguing that these hybrids are attractive snakes, but breeding for them can be potentially dangerous for one or both of the parents, especially when there is a significant size difference between the species (as is the case with the burmball).
