Have you played Suldokar's Wake ?
By Christian Mehrstam
Suldokar’s Wake is Whitehack’s younger sibling: a stand-alone role-playing game set in the far future of an ancient world. It is the hail-of-bullets, solid hologram, sentient storm kind of science fiction, where resources are scarce, high-tech items are old and worn and any hero worth her salt will have at least a few implants to up her chances. The player characters are capable individuals, drawn into the unfolding events of an alien invasion.
The games are similar in some respects, different in others. Suldokar’s Wake is more than three times longer, quirkier, setting oriented and also more focused on hard coded stuff than negotiations. The games frequently share ideas and mechanisms, but where this happens, they are often more developed and more experimental in Suldokar’s Wake, which also features more science fiction rules and extensive and indepth Referee material, advice and tools. While distinctly its own game, Suldokar’s Wake can add a lot of value to any Whitehack campaign. It can also be used as a setting for the Whitehack system.
