ok, how to explain this...
So first, @sidhebeingbrand made up a deer-esque prey animal from Lasan called a garlynn and for Reasons I need to know what that fucker looks like
and by Reasons I mean I Figured out how to get mermaid!Kal on land and it requires luring one of these mfs to the sea side, drowning it and dragging its corpse back to the local sea witch to switch out Kallus' downstairs business, entirely so Kallus can find Zeb and murder him
so bestie helped me figure out a garlynn;
and then I had to figure out where the cut is happening
and decided that it has to be at the neck, in which case, previously a merperson Kallus would be walking around like this;
which is nightmare fuel and I love that for them
and now that I know what a garlynn looks like, I can start on the most important part;
