ok i should really be writing my essay right now but um yeah so like. u ever think about how kakashi literally wouldve been sending team 7 to their deaths in the chunin exams had naruto and sasuke not been the main characters of naruto? i just feel like the entirety of naruto classic was rushed. we never really got to see team 7 get close, in particular we never got to see sasuke and naruto become the friends that they claimed they were. i would've loved to see more character development from them. also i love kakashi but he lowkey taught them jack shit. what about sakura's chakra control or her talent for genjutsu? i would have liked to see more canon teamwork stuff and sasuke’s development, letting team 7 in and them becoming a family.  like it needed an extra arc or two to make the relationships between the characters more believable and for actual character development to happen
