Suma may not be the bravest and may not be a fighter but she WILL bite you if you say something bad about her family. and she will bite extra hard, so hard that you’ll bleed, if you say something bad about Obito or Itachi specifically.

// Suma being present at the massacre and losing a lot of people in just. her childhood in general. really puts the massive emotional distress she experienced as Tengen’s dying in a completely different context, doesn’t it. not that she wouldn’t be distressed if she hadn’t experienced all that. but like. those things add a. . . extra something to it.

and all that losing people really is the driving cause for her joining the final battle. because she’s tired of losing people.

it has been decided. Suma is somewhere between 166-168 cms. she tiny.

Just had a convo with Gem about stuff and like. the realization that Suma has lost so many people. First, she loses her brother at only 8. Then RIn, one of his team mates who she also definitely considered a really close friend. then Minato, who she absolutely considered something between an uncle and father figure. then Itachi. . . and I imagine she just slowly withdraws more and more into herself and laughs less and doesn’t talk to people much. only managing to make one friend at school.

and she!!! starts to laugh and open up again once she meets Tengen and Makio and Hinatsuru! girl slowly becomes more lifely and expressive again!!!

but then that one friend is set for an arranged marriage with Tengen’s abusive brother and they lose contact and she finds out that friend died when that friend’s son comes for help and.

just imagine all of this being added context to her massive distress as Tengen is dying in that one scene.
