Summary of Class
Over all, this class was both educational and informative about the development of the computer, the different types of computers in history, and the way computers work as hardware and software. I was also interested to learn about the people who have contributed to the modern-day computer as well as how extensively each person’s role has attributed to it.
The assignments I believe that will stick with me long after I have finished with this class are the roles of women and how they have become less and less involved over the decades, as well as HTML coding. I believe that I can better understand the way that HTML pages work on the Internet and may someday attempt to change around certain things on my own.
Although this class was daunting in the beginning, I feel I will be able to walk away from this class with a better understanding of computers and have a better appreciation for it and the people who build their lives around them.
