Hello, not quite sure how to word this question so hopefully this makes sense, this is my first time participating in a prompt event on ao3 so sorry if stupid question...
Because we can upload our fics now but they're hidden till later, do the fics get backdated to the date we upload them i.e when revealed they'll show up very late on the ao3 feed for their tags, so not many people will see them? Or does it use the date that the fics get visibly posted by the moderators?

Ao3 has an option to change your publication date. Located Here when you click on edit your work.
The day we reveal your work we will advertise it here with a reminder for you to update your publication date. This will make your work show up as a new fic on the ao3 feed.
