her name was dove and she has since fused with me (host), she changed our lives for the better and this comic is meant to be a tribute to her

green and yellow are co-conscious or blending often, so yellow (who is an animal alter) was able to hear one of my partners say this and immediately decide that yes, puppy do want walk
have a quick doodle about academic now that we're back in school
her two passions are peppermint hot chocolate and doing homework
host and caretaker don't usually have easy or quick switches, but caretaker recently got catapulted to front when our mom said her name while talking to someone on the phone
being a frontstuck-ish* host puts me in many Situations
*i can't willingly give up front and am co-con most of the time but sometimes i disappear for a while
welcome, we're the summertime system!
we're a diagnosed DID system. we have CPTSD and are medium-support-needs autistic and physically disabled. we're bodily 23 years old.
our system name and blog theme is a reference to summertime record by jin. we're hoping to use this blog to process/express our plural experiences. this blog will mostly contain original content. it probably won't be updated regularly. we have a different blog, @purpleparkway, that we use to reblog posts.
go follow my partner system @fullbarrack!
do not interact if you're here to be hateful and don't bring syscourse to this blog.
we call our alters "parts" and/or "brain guys". below is a list of guys you'll probably see in our comics. designs may change with time. gold and silver are fragments.
🌿 (definitely not asking bc I need more tools for myself XD)
Thanks so much for the ask! I wasn’t able to make a comic version of my response that I was happy with, so you’ll have to bear with my mini-essay.
First of all, I use my notes app constantly. I keep multiple “digital journals” (that are mostly filled with quick notes instead of journal entries). One of them is to-dos and general things to remember and another is for mental health related notes (things to discuss in therapy, questions or realizations about myself/ves, etc.). I’d like to try physical journaling, but I’ve struggled with it so far.
When it comes to tools specifically for systems, my first recommendation is Lighthouse. It’s a journaling website for systems that lets you have both a communal journal and individual journals for each alter (that can be password locked!). Apart from journaling, you can log information about your inner world/s and about individual alters; the template of information to fill out that’s provided is very detailed. You can also sort alters into subsystems (which are nested in a main system) and have multiple main systems that aren’t nested. There are a bunch more useful features that I’m not listing here for brevity’s sake but a notable restriction is that you can’t track fronting unless you’re manually typing out who fronts at what time.
I’ve also used both Simply Plural and Ampersand to track fronting. Simply Plural is both an app and a website, Ampersand is only an app (must be downloaded to be used). I personally prefer Ampersand because it has built in ways to log passive influence and co-consciousness, but I can only use it on my laptop for now because they don’t have an IOS version of the app. I haven’t used either app for anything other than tracking front, so I can’t speak to any other features.
The most recent tool we’ve tried to use is front indicator bracelets. We made them ourselves! We like them so far, but haven’t had many chances to use them yet.
excuse the different style, protector drew this instead of host who's drawn everything else. a comic about host beaming thoughts into protector's head.
(we aren't actually anything like these characters i just ship them and ship us.)
