Opinion on; [ woooah this is a lot ] 

Character in general: I’ve liked Iris for a long time, even before I followed you because I did look at your blog way back when despite not following back (I had like fifty active threads at one point and no time at all for crossovers). She’s another unashamedly nice person who must be protected at all costs. Night, I’ve liked since I read about him, and I’m still interested in finding out exactly what the circumstances were of the original story of Elise eating his arm, even if it isn’t relevant anymore. :3cHow they play them: As they’re both OCs I can’t compare to any canon resource so the only thing I can really comment on is consistency. Both of your portrayals are strong enough that, even through the relatively small amount of RP we have done, I have a really good idea of who your characters are, their motivations and such. That’s a good feat! The Mun: You’re both total nerds together tbh I CANT COUNT HOW MANY TIMES I’VE JUST TOTALLY ZONED OUT OF SKYPE CALLS because yous both get on about magic. >:C

It had been very long since she came to the Piltover Police Station, it was time to visit Salem. Or at least she hoped too, maybe he was busy or not there. Although he might shoo her away and tell her that he’s working and that he would play with her later. Stepping up the stairs to the station rather happily, she hummed as she headed towards his office. Getting a few stares from the other employees she ignored them and continued on her search. “Hm….I wonder if he’s here…maybe I could ask.” Looking for someone that looked smart, she tugged on their clothes to get their attention. “Hey excuse me sir, Do you know if Salem is here today?” she asked.

“Apologies for the late visit-- it was difficult to keep Vi from the cupcakes, you see, and I had to make her her own batch. I do hope the evening finds you well. Happy birthday.”

Exile

Send me a prompt and I’ll write a 4-5 sentence drabble about it[ sneaky mention for summoner-nightcipher ]

He walks with the weight of death on his shoulders and she can see it as clearly as she can see the dark cloud that follows her when she sees her face in clear Ionian water. He wanders with less purpose than she, his fear and regret a thicker wall than her hatred -- but now he wanders to their camp, steps lackadaisical as though he fears what will come when he truly rests. 

It is a hard day for him, and she recognises it in the way his steps drag and a stone skitters across the pathway. But she is not without heart, and she found that again when they met. Her hand reaches out, touches his shoulder and the way he looks at her, attention given in a second tells her that Night is going to be okay. His hand rises, locks hers to his shoulder with a grip that makes her believe that he is strong. 

And just for a moment, she believes that she can be strong too.

A Few Questions...

Night had been reviewing suspect files for the better part of the morning when one of his officers entered, the look on his face telling him that they’d found one. Tracking down individuals in one of the busiest cities in Valoran wasn’t easy, but his officers did their job well. "I’ll go out personally. Keep searching, and send an officer out if you find any others." "Yessir!" ~ It took Night only ten minutes to find the woman in question. Though she dressed in a manner similar to that of Upper Piltover, the details were just off enough to show that she was not from around here. He approached her from the front, bowing slightly as he introduced himself. "Excuse me, ma’am. I’m Officer Cipher, working with the police here in Piltover. I had a few questions I wanted to ask you." He began, bringing a notebook and pen out of one pants pocket.

It was mid-morning and there was still so much to do on this block. For now though, the heiress was resting her legs and sitting down on one of the wood stools outside the deli. On the cramped ranch table for two, she had partitioned a third of the circular area to keep a plate of crumbs and a mildly warm cup of tea off to one side, while the rest was kept free for her pleasure reading. She had a crisp newspaper laid out in front of her, as she thumbed through the pages of Piltover’s Daily and scanned through some of the articles. The pamphlets were so thick and verbose, she thought, how were the commoners supposed to digest all of this? She continued exploring the columns of text, large page by large page. Was this all condensed information? Even though Arcen had leaflets, most news and especially gossip was spread by word of mouth up and down the grape vine of social hierarchies. These packets were akin to an anthology of drafts of short stories.

The topics she found were things her people would discuss: trends, specialty shops, and even reviews of the latest cultural shows. The parallels she found were fascinating; the Daily even had an obituary. There weren’t that many names oddly enough, but the voice of a man interrupted her thoughts. She was so engrossed by her findings, she had hardly noticed the officer that approached her.

She blinked, quickly putting down her reading material. Her fingers crinkled the papers, as she held them tightly in her grasp, but not anymore noticeable than that of being surprised. A policeman with pen and paper? Her experiences with men of the law had been less than favorable, even ones who had impersonated them for her noble causes. 

The heiress tilted her chin up, pressed her knees together, and folded her hands upon her lap. “Good morning, Officer,” Miss Sinclair gave him a light smile, “I hope your first question would be how fair a lady’s day has been thusly.”

The sky above seemed to blanket Ionia with an unearthly hue as the sun began to set on just another day on the island City-State. Perhaps if you only looked up you would think it tranquil, a beautiful place both calm and quiet. But it would only take a single glance to the scarred lands to remind even the most far reaching of travellers of the horrors that had descended there. 

It took less than that for Riven, remaining in Ionian lands like a ghost haunting the last place it truly found life. Found it, and slaughtered it. Just the scent of the air, the touch of a breeze and the feel of whatever dirt pile she had claimed for bedrest against her back to remind her of the atrocities she had both suffered and committed. 

Committed. That is why she did not complain of the sores that affected wrapped hands after too many hours of digging, of hoeing, of planting and any other work she could offer freely to the staggeringly numerous homes and farms that needed it. In the past some four years she had rebuilt walls, ploughed entire farms in the space of days. They might have recognised her face; might not. It didn't matter. Even halfway to five years on since Fury had perished at Coeur, Ionia still rebuilt, and most would accept all the help they could get. 

It was worst in the smallest villages, in the farms what reparations Ionia had been given could not reach. Here, Riven made her own redemption, however petty it might be. Tonight, weary bones dragged her down as a thick cloak protected her from the chill that was beginning to thread the evening air. It had been a long day, and it would be a long night if she did not find somewhere suitable to lay rest (and claim it) soon. 

To say that her mind was elsewhere as she trudged up a nameless path was perhaps an understatement; she had grown used to tuning out the sounds, scents and sights of Ionia, and tonight was no different. So she didn't notice the man approaching until a thick shoulder was struck by his steps, and she spun with a small amount of fury in her eyes though absent on her lips as amber set upon him. 

"Watch where you're going!" She spat. Had he been Ionian, perhaps she would have scowled and walked on. But by eye alone he was not, and she owed no guilt to him.

✔:A plot you would love to play out with your character

((ooc: Oh, oh! Alright, maybe I’m odd, but my favorite plotlines generally take place before current day. Then I get to flesh-out headcanons of past and canon events and have a solid basis for relationships that occur in the present.

For that reason, plots I’ve always wanted to play out with my muse are ones with her friends, Vi, Jayce, and Ezreal, going through canonical events.

In particular, a headcanon of mine is about one line in Jayce’s lore, which states:

“Jayce implored the Piltover government to respond, but the officials refused to support an act of aggression. He decided to act alone, realizing that if no one struck back, Piltover would never be safe.”

I count Caitlyn among "the officials" there, as well as her father. Whether Caitlyn knew Jayce personally prior is yet to be fleshed out in my headcanons, but either way within their friendship, the fact that Jayce disrespected the authority of Piltovian officials and Caitlyn herself is something that would cause a lot of tension in their friendship.

That scene in particular is one I’ve always wanted to actually RP out with a Jayce. ;//v//;))
