She normally spends her lunches with Souji and Yosuke--pretending like things are casual. Pretending like things were normal. Things weren’t normal. They’d never be normal again. 

Today she had to get away from that. She had to think. Was her life really worth all of this? She really didn’t know anymore...to think that such a being existed inside someone who seemed completely normal most of the time...she was still getting used to that idea, even though she had seen proof.

She entered the school library, fully intending on hiding in the corner where no one could find her. But when she got to said corner, familiar silver hair greeted her. Could she not get away?

It’s always a risk when Naoto purposely seeks out her friends. She never knows what state she’ll find them in. However, after their last meeting Naoto held onto a faint glimmer of hope that her senpai was breaking free by his own will. Though after the first words came from his mouth she knew that her hopes were falsely placed. Though maybe, just maybe, she could wake up that sleeping part of her leader if she used the right words.

“Nothing is inevitable senpai, you showed us that remember? Those who showed up on the Midnight Channel were supposed to die. Yet you helped them face themselves and avoid a gruesome end. This world, this future that you believe is inevitable... how do you think Nanako-chan would feel about it? Is this a world that you think she would be happy in if she could see it now?”

         There’s a scream of laughter when he captures her before she can run away. The tickling didn’t help, she’s squirming and trying to push his hands away by this point! It’s all good in fun, but tickling brings out the fight in everyone! “B-Big Bro please!”

Yosuke’s hand is already in his face. “It’s got blueberries.” he says with a voice strain that insinuates that it’s that, not the unholy tar pit it creates at the bottom of the bag, that’s the true sin. “And I used...cocoa. Just...cocoa.” Oh, arguably worse. “I was...just gonna toss it. Make...sure not to tell the girls ok? I don’t wanna take back anything and unleash any more Mystery Food X attempts on us... It’s for mankind...”

Hi Air! ( @kingressentiment/ @sumofzero) You wrote a gushy post about how you were happy to have met all of us about a week ago, and I had to return the favor. I’m blessed that I’ve met you and have gotten to know you so well. It makes me happy to hear about everything from wrestling to family to your love of our favorite Yosuke Hanamura. 

Speaking of Yosuke Hanamura, did you know I absolutely love Rai? Yes? Well, I’ll keep on saying that to you anyway. He’s amazing in just about every verse, too! Best big brother Yosuke turned antihero and having to deal with Teddie come to terms with all of this? Love it. Velvet Room Attendant Rai and Snowji being dorks? Amazing! Multiverse Rai and Scarf being bad influences on each other while also in a very instinct driven love? Umph. 

And your Yu... Well, let’s just say I absolutely love him. Cat lover in vet school? Somehow I had never considered that route for the protag, and I’m glad you went with that angle, especially when it involves interactions with the Abnormalities crew. Don’t fall too in love with your cat alternate, eh? ;-)(Or do. You know me.)
