Complying with her treatment, Ash allowed her to work on the burn on his arm (which at this point, was almost all of his arm). His reaction to her treatment was rather odd, though; where most would at least be in discomfort, he seemed to regard his burn with abject indifference, as if he’d been burned many other times in many worse ways. “I appreciate the help—seriously, I don’t think anyone else would have cared to help a complete stranger—and I should really thank you for disposing of the man I was fighting. Not easy, killing people you used to work with.”

//No, the most he does on his own is keep a planner, but that's more for scheduling rather than writing down his thoughts. Charlie and Vaggie most likely would try to encourage him to keep some sort of journal, as a way to process thoughts and emotions. But, Angel really doesn't like processing things. It's painful, and he'd much rather numb those things out, and get on with his life.
