TIP: Sunscreen before clothing up. Always!
The level of importance placed on brushing your teeth or putting on deoderant should be the same as reminding yourself to put on sunscreen. Your best defense against premature wrinkles and sun-damage-induced diseases is right under your nose, my love. Or rather... It is in that bottle of sunscreen that holds the key to your youth and is your mighty sword against the battle of aging against the evil sun (just kidding, Sun, we love you but we hate that you make us look old! :) ).
My tip to remember wearing sunscreen is to place the bottle next to your dresser/clothes so that it reminds you to slather it from head to toe before putting your clothes on. Associate dressing yourself with “but first, SUNSCREEN!” Reason being is that when you wear clothes and put on your sunscreen, you run the risk of accidentally getting sunscreen on your clothes which happens when you are not careful when applying it on your skin and around your clothes. Happens all the time to me and it results in white stains (not a good look!) It’s just easier and more efficient in slathering on the sun fighting goodness right before clothing up!
Your efforts will be rewarded when you are older. What you do now (or don’t do) will come into fruition in the next 5 years. Your skin is a reflection of how well you take care of it. No anti-aging cream will save you when the wrinkles have settled. Do your best and armor up, gals! :)
