Coolest thing I've ever seen
I just experienced the coolest thing I've ever seen in my 38 years on this planet, I'm not even kidding. We have Apple TV at my house and one of the apps we have is the NASA app, which gives you access to live video from the International Space Station. My kids and I watched the sun setting from space before they went to bed tonight. You could clearly see the sun, then the line on the Earth where the shadow began (it's a very distinct line and I had never seen that before in my life), then as the Earth continued to turn you saw the Sun slowly fade over the horizon and eventually it became just a blue line, and then complete darkness. The space station is positioned at what I'm thinking is the Southern Hemisphere because all you could see in the sunlight was ice, clouds, and water. When you couldn't see sunlight anymore, it was complete darkness with no lights from cities at all. How many people get to see that, let alone a 3 and a 5 year old? My kids were amazed, and they wanted to fly into space right now. ❤️ Such a cool experience for them to have, and I might have been more excited than they were. Lol

Only a handful of people would normally ever be able to see this perspective.
