And this is what I've been working on lately, it's my first flat crochet project (I've only made amigurumi and little toys til now). I'm using gradient yarn and it's finally starting to turn green! I'm so pleased with it and it's so soft!

It's so funny scrolling thru someone's blog because of a specific fandom (Princess Tutu) and seeing that I liked something else they did a while ago (Castlevania Nocturne).

Fuck me what would yandere Franky look like?

I feel like he almost floods you with gifts, trinkets, toys, etc. It's the constant stream of gifts and positive conversations, it makes it hard not to fall for him, and maybe he gets you on the Sunny voluntarily (or into his home thusly) but it's not long before one of the little trinkets he gives you either releases gas into face or pricks your skin and drugs you.

The space that he makes for you is a beautiful wonderland. He is doting, he is devoted, he is tender because he's so much bigger and stronger, and all the little devices and trinkets keep you safely secured, so he doesn't have to get rough.

By the time you know what web you're tangled up in it's already too late to do anything about it.

He's sure he can bring you around to understanding him. He's sure that no matter how willful or irritated you are, he'll be able to earn your forgiveness and everything will be okay.

And well, if not

It's a very comfortable space that he's made for you, and no one else knows how to come in or out of it but him anyway.

Some Yandere to Soothe the Ache

Quin, I HAVE to know... What on earth is ramen style oatmeal?? Is it savory oatmeal? Is it some kinda noodles? Have I been living ignorant of some amazing food combo?

Ramen Style Oatmeal is my own mad science, and I have no idea if anyone or anywhere else does it.

So, to make a long story short, I love ramen for breakfast, but the doc says "oatmeal and coffee will help all your old people numbers, so eat those."

But I don't like oatmeal because it's usually served sweat around here, and sweat makes my brain think I'm eating "bad" (Look, that is it's own can of worms, let's not get into it right now), so it makes it hard to eat oatmeal on the regular.

But then my brain decided Oats and Wheat are both grains, and if wheat can make ramen, then so can Oats.

So I make the oats by the package instructions, add chives, miso (or Vegemite, interestingly enough), a soft boiled egg, and sometimes some dry seaweed, and half-a-serving of butter (like 1/2 teaspoon), and I have a really savory breakfast.

Goes great with black coffee, doesn't make my brain cranky, and keeps my stomach full til lunch. And has like, 1/4th the sodium my usual ramen does, and all the fiber and crap the doc wants.

I'm still experimenting with some variations, I wanna see if I can do it stove-top style and get some bonito flake broth and veggies worked into it and skip the butter.

Augh, I love a good "deeper than you expect" kind of character, and so far yeah. I'm not through the whole arc yet, but given the flashbacks and such I have a feeling this is another arc that is NOT going to spare me.

Once I get caught up on the anime I'll likely just go ahead and devour the manga.

I'm enjoying it - it doesn't have me by the throat like One Piece, but I am really enjoying it ^_^

In the meantime, here are two offerings! The first is a map I put together for the first D&D campaign my husband is DMing! I'm playing in it, so I tried not to learn too many details, but I had a lot of fun picking out furniture (all stolen from our Hero Quest game sets) and drawing little buildings. :3 We're hosting I think 9 people for this so it's quite the undertaking! Our first session went really well!! Everyone was getting into the roleplay and the first fight went great!

I've been playing D&D pretty regularly since like 2005? 2006? And I gotta say, that's a pretty banger map. O_O I haven't played face to face in a few years, but I fell in with an international group of people who ended up becoming some of the best friends I've ever had, and since we literally spanned Coast to Coast, we played online.

First on some virtual table Wizards of the Coast actually hosted, but then we found out about Fantasy Grounds and dove into that and never looked back XD

But the fondness for pen and paper, physical TTRPG will always be there =3

And oh goodness that is a fluffy comfy puppy \o/ I would love to rub her ears a little if she's okay with it 🥰

Hi, I started reading Fae Guardians when the crow boy memes came out last fall, and I inflicted it upon my friends at work. We just finished Book 10 (absolutely insane, how was it so much better than all the others??) and I immediately came to Tumblr to see what people have said about it. And, uh, looks like you're the only blog saying anything 😂

But! We will be reading the Fae Devils series soon! I need time to emotionally recover from finding out River ISN'T forming a throuple with Blake and Cloud. 😔 Anyways! Best wishes ✨

RIGHT?? Book 10 is on like. An entirely separate level from the rest of the series. And I did not appreciate this when I first read it, because I read book 10 first and mistakenly assumed it was representative of the rest. But no. I was reading the first pay off of 10 books of build up for Cloud's story slowly taking over everything. We get Cloud POV. I had no idea what a treasure I was holding.

That's not even to mention the rollercoaster of emotions that is River's narration about Cloud. That is a whole can of worms that makes me feral. Lana wrote the most compelling and devastating dynamic in the entire series then turned around and went lmao bros am I right 😂 #brocode anyway back to these fated mates. Lana! Turn back around! How am I meant to care about any mates in the slightest when you just did THAT with the triad! I am on my hands and knees shaking waiting for the next one.

Anyways! I think it's really fun that you're doing it with friends. You have correctly noticed I am one of like 3 people on tumblr who committed. I liveblogged it all, and my friends have followed along with that (for which I'm very grateful it was ALSO lots of fun mwah love u all <3), but it is a different energy. I keep trying to explain to them that Cloud really is built different, but I'm not sure they really get it.

I hope you all have fun with Fae Devils! The first book especially I really enjoyed reading--almost on the same level of book 10. It's just got such an energy to it <3
