Finally got around to drawing out what Aurora's super form will look like. I'm loving the purple and pink of the quills, and I think it will be best to keep the crystals the same way. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!

Evay: Three Auroras in one drawing? It's my lucky day! 🤩 I think they all look great, but of course I'm partial to Aurora Borealis (Super Aurora)! You did a great job capturing her multicolors in that form 💖 Thank you for this drawing!
Reading through your ideas for Aurora's extra forms, in case you don't have a design for if Aurora had a more powerful form beyond her Borealis Form, like Sonic does with Hyper, I thought of a cool name for it. Aurora Cosmicum (Cosmic) or just Cosmic Aurora. I wanted to use Equator, but apparently there's either no translation or equator is the same in both languages. And solar (kinda like the solar flare) is Solaris, and that's kinda already taken. heheh.
Well… I kind of just want to keep Borealis as her highest form. I worry if I give her any form above that she’s going to cross in to territory and have all these negative connotations. I do love those names though! And I’m absolutely supportive of you (or anybody) wanting to write a story or do a drawing of a higher form, but I personally count Borealis as the purest of her forms.
Borealis is weaker in strength than Eclipse, but she’s got the most resolve and vigor and purest of spirit, so if the two could ever theoretically fight Borealis would win :)
I was doing some thinking again this about transformations what would Aurora's Hyper & Dark forms be like and called ?
Aurora’s super form already exists, and it’s called Aurora Borealis [check out this link, it’s animated!] As you can guess, her light powers are extra powerful and can actually cause damage (like beams and blasts, things she can’t use in her normal form unless she’s really upset). She has standard super-form powers in this state: speed, flight, super strength. Her psychic abilities are also on point in this form, so this could probably be used to have a spiritual link with someone either dead or in another realm. Sonic and the gang are too protective over her to let her use the power of the chaos emeralds before them, so she would only resort to her super form if the others could not.
I didn’t give Aurora a dark form, but I went ahead and just tried one out now. The problem is, Aurora is highly HIGHLY sensitive to energies and auras, especially when she’s in a meditative state. She purposefully avoids negative energy because it takes a lot out of her, so if she were to succumb to a dark form it would probably kill her over time. Anyway, here’s her Eclipse Form:
In this form, she absorbs light and energy from entities. Her inhibitors break or are ripped from her body. This form is much physically stronger than Borealis, but not as fast. In fact I would say Eclipse is the most sluggish of any of her forms, with strength as her balance. Aurora is not herself in this state, and is solely consumed by negative energy, so she has no compassion or empathy for anybody. This would be a worst case scenario.
[Now I’m totally picturing an AU where Eclipse Aurora and Super Shadow have to fight and he’s gotta kiss her or something cheesy huehuehue~]
