Almost there. He was almost there.

This is what he was built for. Shoulders or not, he was gonna win this butterfly stroke competition and beat Rei Ryuugazaki. One way or another. 

Eyes narrowed, Sousuke Yamazaki kept swimming, throwing himself out of the water with each of his powerful strokes and smirking, hearing the sounds of his teammates cheering, driving him on with each stroke.

This was it-

No. Not now. Almost immediately one of his shoulders gave up, right when he was in the sight of the finish point right ahead of him. No, not this- not now... and the other one gave out, both throbbing to the point of intensity where he couldnt ignore it anymore. The others were swimming around him as he, Yamazaki Sousuke, uttered a wordless cry of help before disappearing under the water, choking and being defeated by the same thing that had kept him going this whole time.
