This is probably a dumb thing to be annoyed at, but I’m always sad when people talk about how they wish Jon Kent hadn’t been aged up, but only because of Damian. It’s always either no mention of his parents or they come as an afterthought. It’s been years since it happened, but people still act like it just happened and that Damian was the person who lost the most by this, not Lois and Clark who lost years of raising their own son. I get it, I hate when characters I love loose important connections or have them irreversibly changed, but it’s always about Damian. Never Lois, or Clark, or even Jon.
Honestly no, that's a fair thing to be annoyed about. On a whole, I'm pretty neutral on Jon no matter what age he is -- he's been moderately more interesting since they aged him up and gave him things to do that weren't related to Damian, but he's just fundamentally a less compelling character than Chris was and one I'm less invested in.
But I definitely understand the frustration of people reducing one character entirely to a prop and support for another. It's fandom blinders to the extreme and it's just kinda no good for anybody involved.
