For the first time in ages, I've been able to finish a drawing. "All" it took was some new tools, accepting that I don't need it to be perfect, just wanting to make some fanart, looking up old anime and a whole bunch of staying up way too late. (And getting out of the funk due to time and mental healing, but we can pretend that wasn't a factor)

I've wanted to experiment with the "visible sketch look" and as I feel I sketch way more fluidly with ballpoint pen, I'm so happy I can kinda get it to not smudge all over.

I think I wanna do a process post as I've saved a couple of the different stages, but right now, I should probably just go to bed.

Supergreatfriend's Xbox 360 Avatar has been on my list of things to draw for a long time. He's one of my favorite LPers and you should totally check out his LPs of weird and bizzare video games.

The guitar is from Deadly Premonition, the colors on the monitor is from Mode, and the can of Soda is Hassy brand soda from Illbleed.
