I'm not sure whose idea it was to give Earl Brutus their own record label, but Supersod by Cooler was the first release on their Fruition imprint in 1999. The CD single included the original, a remix by Earl Brutus themselves (Superbrut), and this, a remix by big beat also-rans Hardknox.
The track enjoyed a brief resurgence when it featured in my dj sets at Mixed Business offshoot night Abasement in Bristol, 2004 (although no-one really went to them, so resurgence is probably not the right word).
