Prompt - superwholockscreed: Michael and Gavin living together, and they’re both keeping from eachother that they’re psycho/murderers. in some way, Michael finds out that Gavin does the same thing as him, so he proposes to Gavin in a psycho-y way? [or the other way’round]

Michael's Introduction

   Everything was a game to Gavin. That was his philosophy: life was one big game full of lots of little games and only those who believed so had any chance of winning. Such beliefs build the foundations of Gavin's entire mindset. It was why he was the way he was. If Gavin was told not to do something, by default he had to do it and that's why he became a killer in the first place. 

   But along with his enlightenment and undeniable pleasure was a regret that he hadn't cherished the moment. He'd acted almost without thinking, taking her out with one swift and quick movement.

   Next time he'd draw it out and play with his victim because after all - it was a game. 

   He was the most content he'd ever been, living his day life with his extra-curricular activities underneath. Breathing became easier with the knowledge that he was beating the game and nothing made him waver in his escapades until Michael happened. 

   They were a nightmare pairing, Gavin being the way he was and Michael being so... not. He was sobering, and it worried Gavin that just being caught in the gaze of those amber-brown eyes was enough to make his whole world stop and his mind go blank. He worried that it made him weak, and tarnished his no-fear record.

   Because that's what it was; Michael was his only fear. 

   As it turns out, the only thing that riled Gavin up more than feeling powerful was feeling scared. 

   He toyed with the idea of Michael as a partner in crime, the two of them breaking rules side by side as an unstoppable duo. It was stupid and dysfunctional but absolutely beautiful and Gavin wanted nothing more. 

   But he wouldn't say so, because he was scared of loosing Michael.

A/N: Part one out of maybe three or four

   Michael propped himself up on one elbow and looked down at Gavin as he slept, watching the gentle movement in his chest caused by his deep, even breathing. In the depths of slumber he looked completely innocent - a fact that made Michael feel uneasy. Not because he didn't love Gavin for all he was, but because he knew he was different. 

   But there was no harm in trying.

   Continuing the mundane routine of everyday life was easier than past experiences, with Gavin to get him through it. It was amazing how content he could feel in the simple act of watching TV with the Brit sprawled across his lap making occasional dumb comments: as he always did. It was a different kind of fulfilment to the kind he got from knifing the life out of someone, but it was in many ways just as satisfying. The sensations he got from Gavin - running his fingers through his hair or dragging his palms across his skin, kissing him in the middle of the night and first thing in the morning - they were fair contenders to squeezing his hands around someone's neck or blowing their brains out. 

   If he shared one thing with Gavin, why couldn't he share the other?

   It was his eternal struggle.

At this point in my life, no. There is no one i believe deserves that fate.

Have you considered a beta reader?

Ahhh, yes I have. I've been thinking a lot about it but I need to figure who would be willing to beta for me and whatnot. I do have a person who reads my fics and tells me what's wrong with it/what needs to be fixed/how good or bad it is/etc, but she's currently really busy so I don't want to bother her with it, y'know? I don't want her to be doing more than she is, already. ;u;

never read your own writing over and over again love, just relax and post it, your writing is absolutely brilliant and theres no way that a multi-part fic is going to change that

Ahhh, I know I know! But it's like, I don't want this to start out to bad! ;n; I normally don't read over my other fics, but with this one it just really is bothering me so much. ;~; I dunno, I guess I'll just go ahead and post it tomorrow or something
