Best shot I was able to get of Jupiter (and some of its moons) tonight with the super zoom camera! Really need to get a telescope eventually to get better space shots, but regardless, was glad it was clear tonight to be able to see Jupiter the closest & brightest it will be to Earth for the next 107 years!

The Strawberry Moon with the Pentax X70 Bridge Camera, 03 June 2023

A fews days ago I tested the Pentax X70 bridge camera and was blown away by the superzoom function. The normal New Year’s protocol for folks is to work towards good health and prosperity. I just want to photograph a bald eagle in the wild. Today I saw a pair of Red-tailed Hawks hanging out in a tree around the corner. May not be my eagle, but definitely birds of prey. I’m getting closer. Will 2023 be my year? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
