Forsyth freezes as he sees her; there are many blue-haired individuals at the academy, but this is unmistakably his fellow knight-in-arms, the Lady Isadora.
(He can still feel her blood staining his hands.)
She's returned after a sabbatical to her homeland, he would assume. He does not wish to make her time at this ball an unpleasant one, but he lingers near her, wondering what exactly to say, if anything.
(Would he have done the same thing? He was willing to do heinous things to save Python. The mix of lingering guilt and mistrust is suffocating.)
Too late, she must have spotted him. This is his penance, and he shall atone as best he can.
"Lady Isadora! I'd not heard of your return. I hope you are well, this fine evening." He offers his hand to shake, and his brooch for trade. A meager offering, but it will have to be sufficient. "Are you here with Sir Harken?"
(They are not dissimilar, and he must make his peace with that.)
The night was comforting, she felt like she fell right into place here. These kind of events were something Isadora was familiar with throughout her childhood. So even if she didn't like being here, it wasnt the worst feeling in the world.
Thought, sometimes her mind wanders to her short time here, how quickly she turned her back to her comrades in order to chase a false reality she knew would not come quickly. Even looking at Harken or anyone who was with her at that point made her stomach flip upside down.
But, they did the right thing-- all of them, whether or not she would've died for real rather than the dream they were all placed in, she was their enemy.
Pushing all those thoughts away, she made her way to Python- a smile on her face "Sir Forsyth! yes... I did arrive just today, I'm doing well-- I'm accustom to this setting" she shakes his hand and takes the decoration before offering the small bell given to her "Well... Yes, in a sense... were both here but..." perhaps now isnt the time to vent about her marriage troubles "...nevermind. though... I do want to say something."
She takes a deep breath, here we go "Please... Dont blame yourself for what happened that day. I am responsible for my decision... anyone else would've done the same"
