Hello friends and followers, new and old! I have updated my KoFi page! I grew up on the series Boogiepop Phantom, which relatively had very little to do with the actual boogiepop, based off rewatch. I never got a chance to read the light novels it's based off of until recently, but it is one of my favorite series from my youth! It's a psychological-horror mystery, told in non-linear fashion. The weirdness of it reasonated with me in spite of its design and sometimes uncomfortable events. I've always wanted to cosplay Boogiepop since I first saw it almost 15 years ago on, what was it, g4 tv? It was only recently, when the 2019 anime came out, that I remembered this and realized that I *can* make that happen now!
The 2019 anime is currently available free on @crunchyroll ! I do advise that if you do not like non-linear storytelling, or are uncomfortable with blood, body horror, or self harm, that you do not watch the anime as those things (and several others) do come up as the series is often described as a psychological horror mystery. There is also the option of reading the books, translated and published by #sevenseasentertainment , but as of this point I have not yet read/vetted them to know how disturbing they could get wrt detail.
