Support Camp Kesem
Tldr; please help me clear Camp Kesem Princeton’s waitlist. Every little bit helps.
Camp Kesem is a free week-long summer camp for kids whose parents have previously had or currently have cancer. Because of the nature of the camp, our chapter has to fundraise tens of thousands of dollars every year to ensure that everyone that has applied to attend our camp is able to do so. This year, we have SEVEN kids on the waitlist that will not be able to go to camp without the proper funds.
Camp Kesem is an opportunity for the kids to connect with each other while escaping painful circumstances back home, if only for a week. I’ve seen first-hand how much this camp has helped our campers mature, become more empathetic, and open up about what they are feeling. Similarly, every camper I have met has touched my heart and helped me grow too. During the short week we spend at camp together, I have been able to laugh (and cry) with some of the sweetest, youngest souls I’ve had the honor of knowing, and I’ve made memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
If you are able to donate, share my classy link, or recommend any fundraising opportunities, please let me know. I can’t bare the thought of taking this opportunity away from any child that needs it.
