5 teachers have quit this year, leaving too many unmanaged classrooms for the small sub pool.
Students come to my classroom throughout the day asking to stay and learn or work on other classwork with me because they have no teacher. Many aren't even my students. They hear about me from others and know that I will help with any subject. They want to learn. They don't like chaos.
I've become the pied piper of displaced and forgotten children in our school.
