If you roll your eyes when you see the line “pride is an act of bravery” I hope your eyes fall out of your head.
I am 23, bisexual and closeted to by family because of some deep-rooted homophobia. I have a full time job, a college degree and I still can’t tell my mom about one of the most important parts of my identity.
Not only is pride an act of bravery. It is something that many of us are still terrified to do.
