I was tagged by @ pastelmoon-study! Thank you, I wasn’t expecting being able to interact with people in this community this quickly. ^_^
Rules: answer these 10 questions and then tag 10 more people to answer them!
1. What is your degree/favourite subject?
I have a master degree in movie and media analysis but I also love literature, art, maths, astrophysics and meteorology (I’m aiming at studying the last 3 in the coming years thanks to online classes).
I’m half Italian and half Belgian, currently living in Belgium.
3. What motivates you to study?
4. What do you love about yourself?
5. What time do you do your best studying?
In the morning (I’m a morning person).
6. What is your favourite tv show?
So so so many of them. Can’t choose between The Office (UK), Black Books, Firefly, Brooklyn nine nine and Sense8.
7. Best self care tip for exam season?
Don’t study the whole day. Study when you are the most efficient (during 4-5 hours max), take a long break to read/watch movies or series, talk to friends and then just do rereads without studying. The pauses help to memorize things as much as the actual studying part.
8. Do you listen to music when you study?
Nope, perfect complete silence, unless I do exercices/revisions, then it’s movies or Youtube, not music..
9. What is your favourite book?
Come on, how could I chose? It’s the worst. I love equaly Blade Runner by PKD (yep, not the real title but I’m lazy), Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (that’s my original side), Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Les Saisons by Maurice Pons (French book not translated in English), Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut Jr, Contact by Carl Sagan and I’ll stop there because I have something like 20 other titles coming to my mind right now.
10. Where do you do your best studying?
Walking around my apartment.
11. What do you get complimented on often?
How I listen to people (you do that a lot when you are librarian, you’re somehow like a free psychanalyst sometimes).
12. Where would you like to live in the future?
Great Britain, preferably Cambridge. But Oxford too? Or somewhere in Scotland? And I love London the best but living there must not be easy...
13. How long have you been active on your studyblr?
Not even a week... 4 days I think (but I’ve been on Tumblr for years now).
14. Favourite way to spend study breaks?
Reading. Or watching movies while checking Tumblr, Insta or Twitter.
15. What is your favourite study snack?
Nothing healthy I’m afraid...
I would like to just add one question because it’s frustrating for the movie lover I am not to have it here:
16. What is your favourite movie
And my answer: Lost in translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko and Garden State share my endless love.
I know so few studyblr, I’m afraid to bother the persons by tagging them but if they find this fun to do and if they haven’t already done it, I’d be curious to read what @diaryofastemstudent, @the-real-numbers, @theorganisedstudent, @studyingatsunrise, @minyardy, @thomastudies, @procrastinationlikeapro, @mathematicool, @coffeesthetics and @scorpiostudies would answer to those questions.
