Something There That Wasn't There Before - {Open Starter : Gems Only}

Rose was hysterically laughing, the tears pouring out of her eyes. “I'VE TRIED SO HARD TO BE KIND!” It was a half laugh, half scream. She punched the ground as if the clouds were solid, her fist even making a loud crunch as it hit. “WE’VE HAD OUR FUN.” She stood up, drawing her sword from its sheath, body in a fighting stance. The clouds quickly formed to appear as all four of the diamonds, also in fighting stances. “I’m done.” It was as if someone sucked out the humanity that once thrived in her. Her voice was monotone, look murderous. No, it wasn’t that her humanity that was gone, perhaps she’d gone too far deep in human emotions. She felt wrath, anger, and most of all, a feeling she’d not known before, hate. She knew they wouldn't allow her to leave this planet. It was a punishment for a non-existent crime that she'd committed. Well, she'd definitely committed a few crimes but if the laws weren't supporting a vile habitat, she'd clearly act more... appropriate. Either way, she wasn't sure she wanted to see anyone in this state. Maybe she'd lock herself in her room for the rest of her short life. Short because she was sure of the execution coming her way. She'd hardly done anything with the rebellion, there was no way she'd be let off the hook, especially with 'killing pink diamond' and all that beautiful jazz.

That's why she had to save them. She had to save the rest of them that has served in her army. She'd die over and over for them, she was obsessed. Her mind couldn't focus, all the thoughts revolving around Garnet and Pearl. She'd get shattered for them without a second thought. "You'll never have them. Not alive, not dead."

She'd probably looked quite insane to the gem standing in the doorway.
