This is my production for this morning. I feel very lucky that my muse really showered me with inspiration today. The important thing is to show up every day and then inspiration comes more regularly. I don’t have a title yet for this piece, but #surrealexpressionism comes to mind as the type of painting. I first did the watercolor, then started the oil painting, then did the pastel. Now I shall go back to the oil painting. This is a technique I learned from Brenda Ueland. She said that when you get stuck on one story you should write two more and then the solution will come for the first story. I find oil painting the most challenging, perhaps partly because of its size. This painting will be 60 x 80 cm. I’m going to take my time with it.
