Is the outrage over surrogate mothers really about the treatment of surrogate mothers by both the parents who "rented" her and the medical industry or is this yet another outlet for people to vent out their hatred and disgust of gay men that is acceptable by society at large? Because I find it interesting how women who use surrogate mothers are almost excluded from this conversation and the backlash despite the fact that it's fairly common for them to engage in that. I just highly doubt there is actual concern for surrogate mothers.
