susansbones reblogged your post It’s easy to be upset lately. That muc... and added:
Susan had been walking back from the Leaky Cauldron after dropping in to walk to the owner who assured her they would send an owl letting her know if she got the job or not in the next day or so.
She was just passing the ice cream shop when she spotted the familiar red hair of one Ronald Weasley. She walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder, he seemed a little out of it and she didn’t blame him. Everyone seemed a little off these days, ever since the new law was announced along with new partners. And seeing as she was to be married to Ron’s best friend, she figured she should at least say hi.
Ron's thoughts were abrupted with a start. Frowning in a confusion, he glanced behind him having to suppress the reflexive action to go for his wand. Even with the war over and the time the trio had spent on edge in the tent over, it was still difficult to remember sometimes. But the figure behind him was familiar, at least.
It wasn't like they spoke much before, though, so he's stuck waffling a moment uncertainly. "Uh, hi," he said in weak uncertainty, "'m not in your way, am I?"
