I love this still in close-up. Not only does it give the sense of Heaven oppressing the angel, the red flames of Hell are lurking in the backgound as well. Yet, all the angel is really searching for is Crowley.

I needed to gush and ramble about an Aziraphale scene in Good Omens. It‘s been consuming me for DAYS now, since I saw the first two episodes at the premiere.
[[ SPOILERS!!]]
In episode 1 we see Aziraphale at the sushi shop speaking Japanese. He uses the most posh-sounding words & Sheen‘s pronunciation is pure perfection! The one sentence he got there is in Keigo, a very polite form of speaking, you‘d normally hear from high-class service personnel or when someone talks to a higher-up. He could have ended the sentence „gozaimasu“, to put a divide between them as in extra greateful or customer-kind-of way, but he didn‘t. Aziraphale said Thank You in the We Are Friends kind of way.
Aziraphale!!! Has!!! This!!! Much!!! Respect!!! Of!!! The!!! Mortal!!! Sushi!!! Chef!!!
Also, he adds the phrase „wazawaza“ in this sentence, it‘s not needed but it‘s a real Old Way TM to draw out that something that took a long time is appreciated very much. In this scene it‘s the sushi.
We get to see!!! How much!!! Aziraphale!!! Loves food!!! And it‘s done so perfectly, subtitles are on point, Dai Tabuchi (who was also in Spectre) plays the Sushi Chef!!!
I wish we knew if Michael Sheen was aware of this, but I am pretty sure he was, in the way he played the scene. I just love this scene so much.
