This dream was odd. It was blank. Literally blank. White space everywhere, with absolutely no objects or colour or indication of anything. Baekhyun didn’t understand — was the keeper of the dream having those nights like him, where they can’t dream? Is this what it looks like?
However, Baekhyun figured that to be untrue when he turned his head and caught sight of a lone figure — a girl — tucked into the far corners of the white space, sitting down on some sort of ground like Baekhyun was standing on. She had her knees tucked to her chest, arms around them, forehead pressed to the skin. Dressed all in black, her long dark hair encasing around her, as if attempting to hide her away from all the white.
It made him frown at the sight. No, this can’t be like one of those no-dream dreams. There would actually be nothing to dream about if that was the case. This dream was about her and the absence of everything, being left alone here to herself in the midst of the nothingness — it was a sense of abandonment. As if she was forgotten by reality and brought herself here instead; to escape.
Compelled somehow to do something, Baekhyun couldn’t just take himself out of this dream and move on to another one. Instead, he took strides over to the girl — whom still didn’t realize his presence due to his utter silence with every move — and sat beside her. It was a few moments until Baekhyun took in a breath, and muttered, “It’s not easy, is it?”
Dusk had many weird things happen to her before, but this... This was the first time she's been inside her dream. It wasn't even a dream, more like a white, blank room that had nothingness throughout the whole place. There was nothing, but in the far corner of her dream, she saw a speck. She, herself, was in the other far corner, resting her head against her tucked in knees.
The girl frequently peeked out of the darkness that engulfed her vision to peek at that figure. Slowly... Slowly, it seemed as if the figure was going closer to where she was. He, too, was in white minus his chocolate brown hair. Why was he here? Who was he? Those questions ran through her mind as she tried to back away from the man. But, to her lost, she was stopped by the white, hard wall.
“G-go away,” she muttered, hugging her knees. Dusk was being too vulnerable, it was unlike of her. But, it was just a dream... An empty dream. She was thinking that it was another skill of hers, or... it could've been the guy's. She wanted to be alone. But, he appeared. Thoughts of her life in France haunted her. Although she wasn't treated badly, she thought of them as monsters-- monsters who changed people's abilities to do things.
He continued to come closer. The closer he came, the more she tried to hide herself, with her long hair and arms. She tried to ignore his presence. She tried to think of another place-- to deceive his vision in her dreams, but it wasn't working. Nothing was working, and his light steps soon made it to her. Who was he and why was he talking to her? Peeking out to the side, she saw him sit besides her. His voice was melodic as he spoke out to her. “N-no,” was all she managed to say.
