To all the Black Justin Beiber Fans:
Have you noticed that--despite his HEAVY appropriation of African-American culture (and he’s not even American??)--the more time he spends at the top of the music charts, the FEWER Black faces you see in his videos?? (And Black females are definitely a rarity.)
Just pay close attention to his videos... He’s a white Canadian, using Black culture to gain the approval of Black Americans while marketing to white Americans (and the white world at large).
Like I said before, he’s just another once socially-awkward celebrity (of the white, male variety), who is now swagger jackin Black culture without giving anything back in return.
Not denying his “talent,” just ready for my people to stop fawning over a person who, at the end of the day, has NO IDEA what they’re going through in real life, and has zero interest in finding out.
Wake up, ya’ll!!!
