Hi everyone and welcome.
Years ago now, I was single, and looking for someone of the opposite sex to spend time with. I turned to online dating, mainly oasisactive.com but also others.
It was... an interesting experience... I learnt a lot, about myself, about human nature, about what was important to me, and what wasn't. I learnt that what people say (or write), and what they mean can sometimes be polar opposites.
I am no longer single, and have not been for a while now, and while I didn't meet my partner online, I think it's entirely possible that people may meet a person who is perfect for them online. But, be warned, you'll most likely have to meet a LOT of swamp donkeys, have a lot of strange experiences, and generally learn a lot about yourself and other members of the human race before you strike gold.
Also, please note, I do not have tickets on myself. I'm pretty much Mr average - not particularly good looking, not particularly smart, and I most certainly don't drive an expensive vehicle, nor did I live in an impressive house. So, if these things happened to me, there is a good chance they could happen to you too. Some are funny. Some are scary. Some I still don't know how to describe, even years later.
Now, none of what you'll read here is fiction. My imagination isn't good enough to dream up some of these things.
