Sweet Rococo Dresses
Sweet Rococo Dresses
When I was first getting into lolita, I remember this website where you could design your own lolita clothes online and buy them. But I can't find it now! Do you or any of your followers have a link?
It sounds like you're talking about Sweet Rococo. They gave you a bunch of design options (types of necklines, skirt shape, details on the skirt, etc.) and options or fabric and lace and you could put them together and they would make the finished product. Unfortunately they closed in late 2013, much to the dismay of many Lolitas because it was a really great shop.
What do you think of the website sweetrococo ?? I made a dress but I wanted to know what it's like and if its worth it. thank you.xx
The majority of the reviews I’ve seen for them have been very good, although I can’t say I’ve seen any recently. They’ve all been from several years ago. The only bad things I’ve seen come from them though were just questionable designs that people had put together in the dress maker.
Hi~ Have you ever used sweetrococo(.)com and do you know if it's trustworthy? Thanks!
I have never purchased from them but they've been around from quite some time (They were actually featured in one of the English volumes of G&LB) and I've heard some good reviews. I have however seen some of their works come out looking absolutely awful because of people not being smart about the things they put together in the Design Wizard. Just be smart about the fabric and trims you use and you shouldn't have any problems.
Hey you know bodyline's chocoberry print? Is that a replica of something? Or is it of their own design? Because I've seen the same fabric used on some white moon designs on qutieland. Just wondering, do you have any clue where it originated? (strawberrysweetlolita here, I just wasn't able to log in)
It's not a replica, I think it may just be publicly available fabric. Bodyline has been known to use the same fabric as other offbrand shops in the past. For example, if you look at Sweet Rococo's fabric samples, I recognize at least two that Bodyline used before. There may be more in there but I recognize those two because I had skirts from Bodyline using the exact same fabrics.
