In the last days I got a couple of messages concerning the crispness and clarity of my photos. And the question was raised how to get really sharp photos. Here are some thoughts about getting sharp photos out of camera, and how to precisely refine them in Lightroom. I will also mention why I never use in-camera sharpening when shooting JPEG, what the sweet-spot of a lens is, how to find it out, and how to deal with RAW files.
