"Yes. I'm sure I seemed fine to everyone. Just warning you, run faster than anyone when a cybug invasion is going on. I can't remember everyone though.." He gets closer too look at his face better.

"Okay, but what does that have to do wit-" Suddenly, he remembered something. He hadn’t been in the game when it happened, but he remembered hearing some stories not too long ago about some sort of cybug invasion. He never really had thought much about it up until now, since the game still seemed largely unchanged to him. "You got caught by a cybug?" This was starting to connect a little more to him, but the entire scenario still sounded a bit weird to him.

"I’m Cornelius. Cornelius Orangeboar. I’m supposed to be your- Gloyd’s brother." he explained. "Does that sound familiar at all?" He takes one step back when Gloyd gets closer, and he looks both concerned and a little scared.

"Doorways are tough for me as well. So I feel you there." His tail lowers. "Wish I was your size though, than no cybrid or cybug would bother me.

"If anything, it makes you a bigger target." Ralph grumbled. "I have people challenge me quite a bit, or used to anyway."

"Yes, I doubt I could ever really leave Sugar Rush for long. " Seeing him standing made Gloyd a bit scared but stood his ground. "S-Sure are big aren't y-you?"

"Yup," Ralph nodded, "Makes doorways rather bothersome when you’re my size." The cybrid towered well over the other bug at 36 feet, but he didn’t make any effort to be imposing.

"Well, at least your nice about me being around you." He stretches as the little bug pokes it's head out and curiously chitters at Ralph.

"Had you visited a while ago, that wouldn’t be the case." With his systems properly cooled down, the giant could move again and he stood up. "Admittedly I’m a little…. Well, antsy, but you’re at least from these parts, unlike most bugs I run into."

"Instinct leads me there.. It's insane yes. But that is the reason I can understand.. Even though last time I got my fudging wing damaged and got into two separate fights with cybugs and another cybrid"

"If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that instinct doesn’t always know what it’s doing." Ralph paused, his left eye becoming static in the corners of his vision. "…Not always."

"Yes I did.. But come on, this is normal! It's like that weird game called Sims. I'm sure I'll be fine" He was scared though, laying down, trying to be still. "I couldn't have thought of Sugar Rush! I mean, what if I intruded upon Rancis or Vanellope? I'd never hear the end of it"

"Sugar Rush? You’re from there? Don’t remember seeing anything like you in ANY iteration of that game. And WHAT the hell did you think of? AND HOW is this like Sims? Yeah there’s living things and a big area, but no one’s controlling them. God I hope not I don’t want to deal with that or the philosophical ideology that goes with it. Ugh. Existentialism."

Lou meanwhile had crept out and closed the door behind him, staying close to the house and behind the weird bug.

He looks at the door, knocking upon it twice as she dresses. "As for the 'getting ideas'. I don't go into heat often so she's safe." With that, he went through the door. He was coded to be a child... To bad he learned what mating was.

Lou’s eye twitched. “What did he say? Not in heat a lot? That could mean it could happen! NOT TO MY BABY GIRL! I”M GOING TO KILL HIM!”

Lou rushed to the door to the kitchen with Sara’s coat and shoes in and only to be stopped by Sara tapping her foot. 

"Lou….I’m fine."

"But."

"Shoes please."

"But."

"SHOES."

Lou sighed sadly at not being able to fufill he role as father and handed over the shoes. Sara gave him a kiss.

"You’re a great dad Lou, even if you are afraid of bugs."

"I’m not afra-"

"Riiight."

"…It….Bad….bad experience once ok."

"Well, I’m prettty sure whatever this thing is it’s pretty safe, or at least nice. C’mon, let’s see how he got into our basement." 

Meanwhile the air outside was perfect, the wind cool, the mountains and forests colorful, and the brook melodic. Which would all be nice if it weren’t for the fact that they were in the middle of NJ in a residential area. Of course the cybrid didn’t know that, but still. 

Laying about were different creatures and beings all in habitats suited to them or enjoying some sort of activity. This was a home. A rather large home. 

The odd thing was that right in front of them was a miasma of black. Sara came out and looked at it.

"You forgot to think of a place as you went through the door didn’t you?"

He looks at some of the bacon and yucks. He just couldn't resist the meat could he? Well.. Better bacon then the people here. His back cracks the ceiling without him noticing. Once the scared man left did she start questioning him. "Um I was Gloyd Orangeboar at one time. I'm what many call a cybrid and yes we can... Umm where's the exit?"

Sara pointed to the door right next to him. 

"Knock twice, think of the place you wanna be, some semblance of it should appear in the midst of all the other topography."

What the hell did he mean “ONCE” was Gloyd? Did he change who he was? That was a hard feat, it didn’t mean just looks after all, it meant who you were. Eh…Sara shook her head. 

"Look the meat is fine. It’s pig. Free range in fact, led a nice happy life before being brought to the butcher. Just…just take it and go out the door, I need to get some fucking clothes. LOU! LOUUU!"

"Hold yer horses little girl I’m coming!" A pair of pants flew through the door and hit Sara in the face. Followed by a shirt and a bra. Lou walked in and looked at his daughter and her new hat and placed her underwear on top of it. "There, all dressed." He smiled at her as Sara looked out from under the hanging cloth and glared at him. "Love you too sweet heart. I’m going to go get you some shoes and a coat."

"Buuut Looou! It’s not cold in the Sanctuary."

"Don’t care. Coat. Shoes. I’m your father. No take your hat off and put it on correctly before the the….bug person, starts getting ideas or you drop the towel again."

"Lou… I think he’s like…Nevermind. You gloyd thingamaboober, out the door. I’ll be out as soon as I get dressed."

"AND A COAT!."

"Grumble. And a coat."
