I made a visit to Sweets Laboratory in midtown which opened not too long ago and I am sooo relieved they took over the space for one of my all-time fave cafes, Hanamizuki Cafe, since I was worried when they were closed so long after the pandemic started. While I’m definitely gonna miss their rice balls and soups, Sweets Laboratory definitely didn’t disappoint. The space itself is super cute and while I was there, I decided to get the Matcha Made in Heave Parfait (made with layers of matcha custard, jelly & ice cream, chocolate sauce, fruit jelly and whipped cream) and a single Croffle (with fruit, whipped sauce, honey sauce, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream!). I definitely see myself coming back here to try more of their menu and wanna get one of their snow sundaes!
