guys i need y'all to know that swordigo is literally the best game/app. it's free. it's fun. it has a plot. nobody knows it exists. swordigo

100%ed one of my favourite childhood games, Swordigo. No ads, no energy, no pay to win, just a simple free game with a cool story and in some places pretty challenging gameplay.

Although there isn't such a thing as a "build" in this game, you certainly can stick to some variety of playstyles. I think my magic-centered playstyle synergized well with my melee energy drain ability.

Also, no difficulty settings. Perhaps, this is the game that led my tiny 10-year-old self to become the masochistic fromsoft PvP tryhard I am now :D

swordigo mobile game my beloved

i’ve recently started speedrunning swordigo (mobile game from 2012) again. my pb was 1:37:58, which if i recorded and submitted would be #9 on the leaderboard in my category (all bosses no coin doubler, definitely not the most competitive category). anyway on the second run i fully completed in two years, i got 1:38:00.

three seconds.

this speedrun takes upwards of two hours, and i missed my pb by three seconds.

i now know what utter despair feels like
