The Star Wars Writing Alliance turns one year old on August 27th, 2017!
For a year we’ve been encouraging and promoting fanfiction writing. Now we want to encourage reading and leaving comments on some of the great fanfiction produced in the Star Wars fandom (and others!) this year.
So, as part of our anniversary celebration, we’re challenging everyone to a Fanfic Comment Bingo game, which you can find HERE.
The grand prize for most squares filled wins you a ficlet (of at least 2,000 words) of your choice written by the SWWA Command Staff. It starts August 13th! Official Rules under the cut.
Official Rules
Comments must be posted Aug 13th-27th, 2017 to count toward Bingo.
Choose one bingo card, copy/paste it out of this Doc, and fill in a row in any direction (you are allowed to do more than five—try to fill the board)!
Include links (under a Read More) so this functions as Fic Rec (and so we can verify your comments if you are a winner).
Post a picture of your completed bingo card and tag @starwarswritingalliance by the One Year Anniversary of the SWWA, and we’ll reblog it to show the world how you support fic writers! We’ll even reblog partially completed boards, that’s how much we care about your participation!
To be eligible to win, you must be following the SWWA Tumblr, but your comments don’t have to be on Star Wars fics.
Prize for the most squares filled in is a fic of your choice of at least 2,000 words written by the SWWA Command Staff (that’s @starbirdrampant, @animalasaysrauer, @beautifullights1, @telekinetic-hedgehog, @imaginarygolux, @shawarma-palace and @maeglinthebold). But the real winners are the writers who get comments, so share the love!
Preferably after August 27th, feel free to re-use for other fandoms!
