“Most of my songs come over time. The hook comes quite quickly and then it's a slug to bring out the rest. ‘I Hate You Because’ was one of the ones that just came immediately. I was walking to the studio to give a guitar lesson and it all just happened there. Words, chords and melody at the same time. I left my student in the waiting room for 5 minutes so I could record it on my phone. As soon as I got home that day, I picked up the guitar again, put down the bridge and that was it.”

From the lows (Summer Nights), to the Highs (Sage), and even “Coming Down” for those highs, and ultimately back to , or self discovery. SWYM is a spiritual journey of spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical journey of what life is or could be. I believe no matter what point you are in your life, there’s one song that will be relatable, and replayable. And it will create that moment in time. The TV on the cover art represents escape, “Turning on” or channeling into a new reality, or moment in life, while each song represents a different “channel” or emotion, or life experience. The wave/ocean represents depth and clarity. Water is the main element throughout the Album; representing change, and transition (good or bad) The gift of being spiritually reborn again is what I want to give to you guys as you listen and relax and most importantly feel what you need to feel, and ultimately feel the courage to Say What You Mean!
