Hi! I was wondering, whilst looking at the Sailor Moon merchandise that's planned to be released, hardly anything has the Eternal Compact on it (it seems to only go up to the Crisis Compact). Does Toei/Bandai have anything against Sailor Stars and using it in merchandise?

They seem to be staggering the release of merchandise linearly based on how the seasons progressed. At first everything was based on the first/classic season - it took a while before we started seeing R merchandise, and a lot longer to see anything from S. It was a big deal when we finally saw merchandise that featured the Outers. Only recently have we begun to branch into merchandise related to SuperS, and that was probably accelerated because the plots of S and SuperS merged a lot, with Super Sailor Moon powering up in S.

I think we’ll definitely see some Sailor Stars merchandise, it will just take a while. We’ll be seeing more SuperS merchandise before that happens - merch with the girls in their Super Sailor forms, probably a Kaleidomoon Scope Proplica/Premium Bandai replica, maybe (hopefully!) some Pegasus/Helios stuff. And, of course, different brands/product types are being released in different stages. We only just got new versions of the (non-Miracle Romance) Crystal Star and the Orgel (Star Locket), so it wouldn’t be surprising if an Eternal Moon Article replica was a long way off.

I bet we’ll see some Sailor Stars merchandise soon, though, probably starting subtle with some patterned prints on things like stationery or accessories, before we get figures, wand props, Starlight plushes, etc. But I assume they will, eventually, happen. Edit: I don’t have any reason to believe TOEI/Bandai is opposed to releasing merchandise of Sailor Stars, the Starlights were pretty popular characters (considering the general decline of the series popularity at that point).

Edit 2: I realise I probably didn't even answer your question despite all the words I used, lmao. Sorry! Looking back historically, TOEI has absolutely no qualms about milking Sailor Stars for merchandise. That was kind of the point of the season - to regain popularity they lost after the direction they went in SuperS. They even told Naoko to give the Starlights long hair because it would be easier to make dolls. A LOT of merchandise came out of the Sailor Stars era in the original run so I have no doubt that they will shower us with Starlight/Eternal Sailor Moon merchandise.

Best to see the doctor then; from my experience the asthma I get can last for a few hours, and that's been a constant for me. There might be something else if it's inconsistent, like yours.
