Did your MC know what Ethan looked like before meeting him? Or are you following canon? Also, how do you think MC managed to not know their medical hero’s face all those years?

I asked my soon-to-be med student sister and she said it's possible to not know someone's face even if you've looked into their research, but if you specifically looked them up to read more of their research you probably would know what they look like. So, I do not think it's likely that MC didn't know what Ethan looked like at all. What I HC is that my MCs knew what he looked like, but didn't remember that well because they mostly just read his research rather than looked as his pictures. Also, I think that the adrenaline of the situation in which they met overpowered any recognition of him. They didn't really have time to think "holy shit that's Ethan Ramsey" while they saved someone's life, you know?

But yeah, once again, I do not know why PB did that, but whatever.

i fucking HATE valentines day. i have always wanted to like it so badly but i have a lot of trauma surrounding it. the first valentines day i ever spent with a partner i found out they were cheating on me bc he posted a fb post saying “happy valentines day emily i love you” ??? my name isnt emily

and then. well, my…most recent ex didn’t like it therefore we never celebrated it the way i wanted. in fact, i distinctly remember one year trying to watch one of my favorite movies but instead he made me cry while he just scrolled on his phone next to me

what does sydneys usual work schedule look like post-books? what ab his days off?

iiiiii will be honest i have no idea what a doctor's work schedule is like irl🧍

as for his days off, it depends on who else has the day off lol because he will be hanging out with whoever it is LMAO. although a lot of the time he doesn't actually hang out with them on his day off but rather the night before, where they go out and partyyyyyyy so a lot of his days off are just. recovering from the night before LMAO. but if he and ethan have the day off together they like to host dinner parties or brunches (if their friends can make it anyway) ! ethan is in charge of food, syd is in charge of drinks :)

How is life going for Syd at the moment/current time?

Good! Or, well as good as one's life can be in America rn... Sydney is definitely doing a lot of political activism rn which is something he enjoys but also wishes wasn't needed, you know?

Generally, Syd is happy with where his life is at rn though. He's been married to Ethan for a little over two years now and they have their two cats that they love very much 🫶
